How Lantern Coffee's rewards program handles your information. Last updated: 27 August 2026.

When you join Lantern Coffee's rewards program, the program is run on Lantern Coffee's behalf by myReturners (the operator; "we", "us"). This page explains what we collect and your choices.

What we collect

• Email (required), to add you to Lantern Coffee's rewards list and send your rewards emails.
• First name (required), to personalize your emails and confirm your card.
• Phone, used only to look up your rewards card at the counter (for example, a dead phone). Never used for text messages.
• Your usual order (optional), so Lantern Coffee can send you relevant offers.
• Birthday (optional), the month and day only, so Lantern Coffee can send you a birthday note. We never ask for or store the year.

We do not collect payment details, your mailing address, or the year of your birth.

Who helps us run it

We share only what each provider needs, and we never sell your information:

• Cloudflare: hosting and database.
• Resend: sending the emails.
• Cloudflare Turnstile: blocking spam bots on the signup form, invisibly. It checks signals from your browser to tell people from bots; see the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
• PassKit: issues your loyalty card to Apple / Google Wallet, if you add it to your phone.

AI

We use AI tools to help draft marketing email content. A person reviews what goes out.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe anytime. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, honored immediately.
• See, download, or delete your data: use the manage your data page. We email you a secure link first, to confirm it's really you.
• If you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record of that so we never email you again.

Consent

You're only added to the marketing list if you tick the opt-in box at signup. It is never pre-checked.

If Lantern Coffee changes hands

Your information belongs to Lantern Coffee as a business, never to us. If Lantern Coffee is ever sold, the rewards list transfers with the shop to its new owner, under these same rules. Your unsubscribe and deletion rights don't change.
